  98. While looking through the GUS SDK version 2.21 (and 2.22), I've noticed 
  99. that several file mentioned in the documents are missing.
  100.  
  101. For example, there is _no_ example source which uses UltraMid, although 
  102. the UltraMid document file (Ultramid.DOC) says to take a look at them for 
  103. example of using UltraMid.
  104.  
  105. I've heard several reports that the Focal Point 3D stuff is gone also, 
  106. although I suppose there's a legal reason for that ;)
  107.  
  108. Any comments on this, guys?

  209. I have uploaded /pub/pc/ultrasound/submit/sdk.tar to the submit
  210. directory of archive.epas.utoronto.ca.  It contains a reconstruction of
  211. the Ultrasound Programmer's Digest archives.  A listing of the tar file is
  212. attached.

  214. I have re-processed the issues which exist in the ancient
  215. systems/ibmpc/ultrasound/digests directory on wuarchive.wustl.edu.
  216. I was able to supply a few missing issues,
  217. and I have consistently adding leading zero's to single digit
  218. numbers.
  219.  
  220. There are a few missing issues.  In the MISSING file, I say:
  221.  
  222. GUS Programmer's Digest missing issues.  It's quite possible none
  223. were issued with these numbers:

  229.     v6#02
  230.     v9#30

  237. There are apparent mis-numberings of existing issues in the archive  as
  238. well.  I note a few below, but have probably overlooked others.

  240. v2#1 and v2#2 incorrectly announced themselves as v4#1 and v4#2
  241. respectively - from the dates of issue and the fact that there are
  242. distinct, correctly sequenced issues of v4#1 and v4#2, such mis-numbered
  243. issues are placed in the reconstructed correct archive.
  244.  
  245. The archives of v9 I got skip from v9#30 on 18 Mar 94 to v9#34 on 29 Mar 94;
  246. I have no idea if these exist elsewhere.
